Episode 79: Dysfunction Junction

It's time for Marcy's first party! Join Alison and Jody for chapters 14-15 of Paula Danziger's beloved novel about teen rebellion, teen love, and teen angst, "The Cat Ate My Gymsuit" (1974). Marcy and Joel hit up Nancy's unchaperoned basement party, where things start to get a little wild with flying pretzels and beer karate. Marcy also gets her FIRST KISS... but it's not what she had imagined. Dad proves to be an even bigger dick than we thought, mom remains helpless, and grandma remains nameless.
