About us
The Blume Saloon is a sort-of book club hosted by Jody Worthington (graphic designer/creative director) and Molly Sanchez (writer, comedian, book freak).
The podcast began in 2017 with cohosts Jody and Alison Michael. They covered books by Judy Blume for 7 years with occasional vacations to the land of Beverly Cleary, Rita Williams Garcia, and others (plus one time Jody actually MET Judy!). In 2025, Alison took a break from cohosting to raise some future Blume Heads, and Molly Sanchez stepped in.
Join us every other week as we cover a few more chapters from a favorite Judy (or Judy-adjacent) novel. Currently, we’re reading “Smart Women," and would still like to put it out there that all hosts past, present, and future would quit their jobs in an instant to yap about Judy full-time if given the offer!
